Sun. March 18, 2018, Hell of Hunterdon, Blawenburg, NJ. This is a hilly 82-mi Belgian-themed ride in Hunterdon, Mercer and Somerset Counties, NJ. The challenging course features 19 sections of dirt, gravel and hardscrabble roads (covering approximately 15% of the course).

Sun. April 8, 2018, Brandywine Valley Roubaix III, West Chester, PA. This is a hilly 60-mi ride with 40% dirt/gravel roads, including the 1-mi Hill Top Road climb (10% grade in some sections). A 25-mi route is also available. Chester County Velo

Sat. April 14, 2018, Monkey Knife Fight, Emmaus, PA. This is a 64-mi mixed-terrain ride (paved and gravel roads). Benefits Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer.

Sat. April 14, 2018, Taxing Metric Century, Warwick County Park, Knauertown, PA. Ride 22, 32 or 63 mi. Lunch stop with hot homemade soups and baked goodies. Benefits Bethesda Project - "A Caring Family for Philadelphia's Homeless".

Sat. April 14, 2018, TSR Spring Classic, Easton, MD. Ride 25, 50 or 62 mi on the flat Eastern Shore. Benefits Talbot Special Riders, an organization which provides equine therapy to youth and adults with developmental disorders.

Sat. April 21, 2018, Cumberland Valley Rail-Trail Race, Run, Ride & Ramble, Shippensburg, PA. 19-mi bike ride; 9-mi walk; 1-mi, 5k or 15k run. All events take place on the Cumberland Valley Rail-Trail.

Sat. April 21, 2018, New Holland Bicycle Race, New Holland, PA. Ride/race 30 or 50+ mi through scenic Lancaster County with 2000-4300 ft climbing.

Sun. April 22, 2018, Lu Lacka Wyco Hundo, Jenkins Township, PA (near Pittston). This is a hilly mixed-terrain 50-, 75- or 103-mi ride (paved and gravel roads) in the beautiful Wyoming Valley of Northeastern Pennsylvania. 2018 date from BikeReg.com.

April 27-29, 2018, Face of America. Choice of two routes: 1) ride from Valley Forge to Gettysburg, 120-mi one-way, or 2) ride from the Pentagon in Arlington, VA, to Gettysburg, PA, 110-mi one-way. Ride with servicemen who have been severely injured in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sat. May 19, 2018, SCU Quad County Century, Green Lane, PA. Start from scenic Green Lane Park in rural western Montgomery County, and ride 25, 44, 54, 68, 81 or 106 mi on rolling-to-hilly terrain in low-traffic sections of Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, and Lehigh Counties. Sun. May 27, 2018, Velo Valley Vistas, Valley Preferred Cycling Center (Trexlertown Velodrome), Breinigsville, PA. Ride 25 mi somewhat flat; or ride 40, 62, or 104 mi, rolling-hilly in the beautiful Hawk Valley with optional climb up Hawk Mountain. Weekend events include "Try the Track" at the velodrome (separate registration) on May 26th, and local, unsupported GPS rides on May 25th, 26th and 28th. The ride coincides with the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Wall, a 3/5-replica of the Vietnam Veterans Wall, at the VFW grounds from May 31 – June 6. Sat. June 16, 2018, Rohrbach's Garage Bike Race, Alburtis, PA. Rescheduled to Saturday, October 13. Ride the 50-mi loop with 5000-ft of elevation gain that consists of 7 significant climbs. Number of loops completed with the best time. A must event for serious climbers. Benefits the Cavaillon Orphanage in Haiti.

June 23-24, 2018, Pennsylvania Hope Ride, Hershey, PA. Ride 75 or 100 mi on Saturday to Kutztown University for dinner and overnight stay, and 75 mi back to Hershey on Sunday. Benefits the American Cancer Society.
